Is there a problem with shops taking their catalogues online?

With the majority of the western hemisphere gaining access to the internet, wether it be in there home, public library, or an internet cafe, it is not a surprise that most of the shopping people do is done online. Therefore, it is definatly a good move to take catalogues online. The only inconvenience is that you have to usually pay about £3 packaging.
Because of the increase of internet access from home, companies do not want to waste time and money on mass producing catalogues of which will never be picked up or used by the majority.
